In the pharmaceutical industry:

-As a super disintegrator used in preparations, the preparation rapidly swells and disintegrates, effectively improves drug dissolution and bioavailability, and can adapt to wet granulation and direct pressure processes. Different particle sizes are applied to different adding processes, affecting disintegration time and tablet one-sided appearance.

-As an adsorbent and complexing agent used in preparations, through the use of complexation to stabilize the active ingredient of the drug, improve drug release and bioavailability; There are significant differences in drug release from different particle size products.

-Used as a suspension stabilizer to reduce drug particle settling and increase the redispersion capacity of settling liquids.
