Parecoxib Sodium is a precursor of vardicxib, which can selectively inhibit cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2), inhibit the conversion of arachidonic acid to prostaglandin (PG), and inhibit the synthesis of PG, thus exerting analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, while the inhibition of COX-1 is not obvious, so it does not affect gastrointestinal mucosa, platelet and renal function while exerting analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects.
